01 — Dry Needling

Dry needling is based on the treatment of trigger points with acupuncture needles. It is perfect for chronic and acute pain related to muscular issues. The session focuses on the area where your pain starts and helps to release the muscles related to that area to create balance. It differs from acupuncture in that the focus is on trigger points, the needles are not retained and the practitioner will be with you the entire session releasing each area. Dry needling is a more intense and very effective treatment that accomplishes what a deep tissue massage can do in a fraction of the time.

02 — Acupuncture

Suitable for a variety of mental and physical conditions. Initial exam is approximately 80 minutes and includes a thorough history & treatment. Returns are 55 minutes. All treatments include acupuncture and 8-10 minutes manual therapy such as massage, cupping or gua sha.

03 — Add-ons

Massage, Cupping and Gua Sha are manual therapy techniques that relieve pain and stiffness by promoting blood flow, breaking up adhesions, and unwinding myofascial patterns. These treatments are available as an add on to your Dry Needling and Acupuncture appointments. Consult with your provider to chose the best add-on.

04 — Reiki/Energy Work

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that utilizes a palm-healing technique from which healing life force energy is channeled through the practitioner to the client, which can activate the natural healing processes of the body, mind and spirit. 

Energy work is similar to Reiki and may contain Reiki practices. It involves the identification of dis-eased energetic patterns in the body and manipulating them through a variety of methods. The work occurs on the auric level, in the chakras and the deep energetic meridians of the body.
